Theme: The Most Generous Person I Know

  • Who’s the most generous person you know? SHOW viewers how AND why.
  • What are the root causes of this person’s generosity? Dig deep.
  • Why are others, even those who admire this person, not as generous? Think. Dig. Explore.
  • What are the rewards of generosity?  What are the costs (and yes, there are costs, not simply financial)?
  • SHOW us UNUSUAL acts of generosity (not simply financial — generosity of spirit, time, generous acts, etc.).
  • What are the limits to this person’s ability to be generous (and yes, even Mother Theresa had limits)? How does the person decide on where to put those limits are, and how do live with the fact that they need to impose them?
  • How does the generosity of this individual affect people around him or her?
  • What message does this individual have for all of us?

What Winning Short Documentaries Will Show

Through a combination of interviews and observations, winning videos will tell a story of an unusually generous person that doesn’t simply say what this person does, but digs deep and tells us WHY (and not a superficial why, a way down deep why).  Unusual generosity expressed in unusual ways.

Let’s see it!
