Last chance to get in — more details here!
Bojan Peric of Gunja, Croatia has has submitted the video below, entitled “This Might Be One Fine Boy.”
Contest ends Monday — plenty of time to create your entry! Find out more here.
That’s plenty of time to shoot and edit a short documentary which will inspire others. See the specifics of this contest here.
Tom Brouns, an active US serviceman based in the Netherlands, has won our “first entry” award ($150) by submitting the video shown here. Brouns also won our October contest Grand Prize. In this video he shows us a soccer coach of a local team (a team for American service personnel’s children) who clearly has a heart of gold.
Our $50 award for the second legitimate entry is still waiting to be won. The contest accepts entries until Monday, November 23rd.
Two potential contestants asked us to do so, and we can oblige. MONDAY, Nov 23: The new deadline for submissions to our “Most Generous Person I Know” contest. $2000 top prize and as of now, it’s wide open! Get those creative juices going!
Who’s that “Most Generous Person” you know? $150 to the first legitimate entry, $50 to second, $1000 to your club if you win the $2000 grand prize! Good luck with November’s Contest!
That’s right — the first LEGITIMATE entry into our November contest will receive $150, and $50 to the second. What does “legitimate” mean? That it was made with thought, that the subject was truly explored, that the entry wasn’t — in our opinion — slapped together for no other purpose than to get the $150. Rather, in our opinion, it’s being submitted as a true contender for the Grand Prize ($2000). It also, of course, needs to comply with our Requirements for Every Submitted Video.
Go get em!
Congratulations Tom Brouns! He’s an American military officer based in the Netherlands, and has won the Grand Prize in October’s contest “A Family Struggles to Go Green”. Brouns portrayed his family’s struggles both with sometimes confusing Dutch recycling laws, and between his two teenage daughters who see green efforts in very different lights. Brouns, a veteran of Afghanistan, has entered a number of video contests by creating videos with his family, though this is the first time he has won the top prize. Thank you to all contestants!
